An open letter to the community
Dear TRONICS:
TRON will soon celebrate its second Independence Day anniversary. Since the launch of its MainNet on June 25th, 2018, TRON has undergone three significant iterations and is now ready to embrace its fourth, TRON 4.0, on July 7th, 2020. The anniversary marks the conclusion of the TRON Odyssey era and heralds the beginning of TRON 4.0 — the era of the Great Voyage.
The launch of TRON 4.0 will begin a pivotal moment in the history of blockchain:
1. We developed the first smart contract privacy protocol supported by a virtual machine. It is also the safest, most productive, and energy-efficient privacy protocol at the moment. These protocols provide developers with more possibilities when it comes to choosing protocols while still adhering to TRX compliant regulations.
2. We upgraded the TPOS consensus mechanism, combining the advantages of DPoS and PBFT, which reduced the block confirmation time from 57 seconds to 3 seconds, which enhances safety and circulation on the blockchain. These upgrades make TRON 4.0 stand out amongst all the other public chains.
3. We’ve introduced a brand new TICP cross-chain protocol, ushering in a cross-chain era for the TRON ecosystem. When TRON 4.0 releases, there will be three public chains available to connect with for developers all over the world. 4. We’ve successfully developed a financial institution and enterprise blockchain solution. Financial institutions and business developers will be able to swiftly deploy a customized application blockchain based on their needs. These solutions will significantly reduce the time and cost of projects, as well as allowing for easy adoption of a new blockchain system.
The official launch of TRON 4.0 signifies the stunning transformation of TRON from being a blockchain-centered project to an industry trendsetter.
